FAQ’s

What is Pool Stock and how does it work?
Pool Stock refers to a set of on-ground vehicles held under the Ford Pro Upfitter program. These units are held by Farmbro for dealerships, fleet management companies and commercial fleets. The vehicles are pre-configured with specs that align with typical commercial fleet needs, and are available for quick deployment to the field.
Are all models available in Farmbro Ford pool stock?
Unfortunately, not all Ford models are available in Farmbro’s pool stock. Generally we stock low and mid roof configurations in 130WB and 148WB lengths, often in the T-250 model. We are regularly reviewing our specs to ensure new options and configurations are included if they are desirable for commercial fleets.
Is there a minimum upfit requirement on pool stock units?
While we do expect some form of upfitting in any vehicle from our pool, Farmbro is very flexible with respect to upfit content. Upfits can vary widely by market segment, vehicle roof height and wheelbase. We generally start with flooring, a partition and either shelving or wall liners. Ladder racks are another popular option. Our sales reps have pre-set packages available for review and modification to meet every customer’s needs.
Can pool stock be held specifically for a fleet?
Pool stock is a program designed to be equally accessible by all fleet stakeholders. We do not “hold” specific specs for fleets or dealerships. All units are made available through the Ford Pro system and our Sales team. Speak with a Sales rep if you have questions pertaining to pool unit access at a future date.
How quickly can a pool stock unit be ready? Can Farmbro pre-upfit vehicles so they're work-ready to pull them when needed?
Most units can be ready in 2-4 weeks, with many ready quicker than that depending on the upfit content required. Unfortunately, we cannot pre-install product on vehicles. Vehicles must be R&R’d to a dealer and an upfit PO issued to Farmbro before parts can be ordered and work can begin.
Can pool units be re-entered into ship thru?
The answer is both Yes and No. Low roof units can be re-entered into Ford’s ship-thru system and delivered anywhere in Canada. Dealers will include the freight re-entry costs on their vehicle invoices. Mid and high roof units cannot be re-entered and may be picked up directly from Farmbro by a dealership, or transported via third-party logistics (usually a carrier or drive-away service). Farmbro can assist with arranging national vehicle movement if desired.
